Toyota 4Runner & Toyota Tacoma Security Bolts

Full kit of locking bolts for our 4Runner 2003-2024 and Tacoma 2016-2023 catalytic converter protection plates. This is a full set including all 10 bolts. This kit is also compatible with the GX460 and GX470 plates.

These bolts replace the bolts that come standard with the 4 Runner/Tacoma plate. These have a proprietary head that requires a special bit that is only obtainable through us. This proprietary bit is not something you can buy at your local hardware store. Don't be deceived by others who use a cheaper standard tamper-proof torx bit bolt, which can be bought at your local hardware store. Those are just as secure as any other bolt you can easily obtain.

Note: We do not recommend using impact tools with these bolts. Also, these bolts are an add-on to the skid plate, and replace the standard bolts that come with them. Follow torque specs listed in instructions. We will not replace stripped bolt heads or broken bits damaged due to abuse.
